Setting up a limited company - Payroll and RTI

So your limited company formation has been done, now you have to think about payroll. Payroll for a company is the means by which it pays its employees for the work they do.

Towards the end of a monthly payroll period the salary that is to be paid to each employee is calculated with deductions for income tax and national insurance. Arrangements are then made for it to be paid at the end of the payroll period. Genie Accountancy will run your payroll for you. The net pay due will be visible in our online accounting software allowing you to arrange the necessary bank transfer and you will be able to access copies of your payslips.

Our contractor accountants will ensure that the necessary monthly reports are submitted to HMRC under RTI (Real Time Information) and at the end of the payroll year we will ensure that a P60 will be issued to each employee on an annual basis to show how much they have earned during the year.
